Made dinner for Mom tonight. Pan seared scallops with 4-cheese ravioli in a garlic, mushroom and herb sauce. Everything was fresh, bought from the North Market across the street. Even the herbs were from my new little herb garden that I got at the Farmer’s Market this morning. Sliced my thumb wide open while chopping up the mushrooms though, and was afraid I was going to have to go get stitches, but we got it under control and everything seems to be okay now. Cutting my thumb was worth it though, it was one of the best meals I’ve ever made in my life. Mom was very impressed. :) We also went to a glass blowing studio and surprisingly, they were doing a demo today. So we got to watch an artist made a vase type thing and found out that this studio offers classes and I am going to sign up as soon as I can. Rented a car for the weekend, too, so I finally got a chance to drive in Columbus. It felt so fucking good to be behind the wheel again. I really miss driving and it reignited that want to buy a car again. Very fantastic day, probably one the best days I’ve had in Columbus thus far. :) Hope all is well on your end, friends.
